About me
I'm Alikhan. I'm 16, I live in Kostanay and I study in the maths stream of my lyceum.
My first technical project was in fifth grade — robotics, second place at the school showcase. Then came three years of doing nothing at all. My grades slid, and I dropped everything I had been working on. I'm not going to pretend otherwise: it is part of the story, and everything else grew out of it.
At the end of eighth grade I decided to start over. Over the following year I pulled my grades back up to nearly straight A's, finished music school alongside it — the final exams at both places ran at the same time — and landed in the environment that turned me around: hackathons, idea battles and pitch sessions across the Astana Hub ecosystem. Kostanay, Petropavlovsk, Almaty.
Now I build AI products. Computer vision, progressive web apps, Telegram bots, and work with LLMs — both local and cloud. What interests me is not the technology itself but the moment it turns into a working service somebody actually uses.
My current project is : an AI system for teachers and students. It's still in development, so the name stays under wraps for now. Before it came Smart Green Qostanai, a PWA that assesses city trees from a photograph, built at the Qostanai Smart City hackathon.
Next comes an undergraduate degree abroad. First priority is Japan, through the MEXT programme.

Kostanay, Petropavlovsk, Almaty — the rooms where strangers took these projects apart.
First outings with NPAI: learned to fit an idea into a short pitch, and to hear questions about money rather than code.
A conversation with people from outside my own city, where the question of who actually buys this lands hardest.
1–3 November at Dulatov University. The first product built against a real manufacturing case — QA Vision.
5–6 December. A 24-hour hackathon with KZ UniVerse and Startup Battle with NPAI: top-30 teams, pitched in person.
13–14 August. Jasyl: our own dataset, a fine-tuned model and a working offline app in two days.
17–18 September. AgroVision AI: a weed map from drone imagery for Olzha Agro — first place on the case and a 500,000 ₸ prize.

The "Learning" tier isn't filler: without it a stack is just a list.
